Joining Parvis means becoming part of a vibrant community that values diversity and passion for learning.
High School Admissions
Who We Look For: Our High School (Sixth Form) programme is suited for students who have completed their GCSEs or equivalent (typically age 16) and are ready for an academically challenging and creatively enriching sixth form experience. We look for students with strong grades in core subjects, especially in mathematics, sciences, and humanities, as well as a demonstrated interest or talent in music or the arts. Curiosity, self-motivation, and a willingness to embrace new ideas are qualities we value highly.
Entry Requirements: Applicants should have a solid academic record from Year 10/11 (or equivalent). While specific grade requirements may vary, competitive candidates usually have mostly A*–B (or equivalent) grades. An entrance examination and interview may be required for certain applicants to assess academic readiness. For music-focused students, an audition or portfolio of musical work is typically required to gauge skill level and commitment.
Undergraduate Admissions
Who We Look For: Our undergraduate programmes attract students who are academically driven and passionate about their field of study. We welcome applicants from diverse educational backgrounds (A-Levels, IB Diploma, international high school qualifications). Successful candidates typically have strong grades in relevant subjects – for example, Economics or Business applicants should have a good foundation in mathematics, while Music applicants should demonstrate musical training and theory knowledge. We value students who show initiative and creativity, such as involvement in school clubs, competitions, community service, or original projects.
Entry Requirements: Generally, undergraduate applicants should have the equivalent of BBB–AAA at A-Level (or an IB score around 32–38 points) depending on the programme. Specific prerequisites exist for certain courses (e.g., A-Level Maths for economics-related degrees). International students must provide proof of English proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent) if English is not their first language. All applicants are required to submit academic transcripts, a personal statement, and letters of recommendation. Music and Arts applicants will need to submit a portfolio or audition video, and may be invited for live auditions or interviews.
Postgraduate Admissions
Who We Look For: Our postgraduate programmes are designed for university graduates and professionals who wish to deepen their expertise. We seek applicants with a strong undergraduate degree (typically a 2:1 honours or equivalent) in a relevant field. Work experience or research experience in the chosen area is a plus, especially for our MBA and other professional programmes. Candidates should be prepared for rigorous study and have a clear idea of their research or professional goals.
Entry Requirements: Applicants for master’s degrees should hold a recognised bachelor’s degree. A minimum result of a UK upper second-class (2:1) or international equivalent is normally expected, though relevant experience or portfolios can also be considered. For PhD applicants, a master’s degree in a related field and a well-developed research proposal are required. All postgraduate applicants must submit academic transcripts, a detailed CV, a statement of purpose outlining their goals, and at least two academic or professional references. Additional requirements:
- MBA applicants: Preferably 2+ years of work experience; GMAT scores are optional but can strengthen the application.
- Music/Arts postgraduate applicants: A portfolio of compositions, recordings, or a live audition is required for performance and creative programmes.
Application Process
Our application process is straightforward and mostly conducted online. Below are the general steps:
- Online Application Form: Complete the application form through our website (or via UCAS for undergraduate applicants). This includes providing personal details and the intended programme of study.
- Submit Documents: Upload all required supporting documents, such as transcripts, certificates, personal statement/essay, recommendation letters, and English test scores (if applicable). Ensure portfolios or audition materials are submitted according to the guidelines for creative programmes.
- Application Fee: Pay the application fee (if applicable) to formally submit your application for review.
- Interview/Audition (if required): Selected applicants may be invited to an online or in-person interview. Music and arts candidates might be asked to audition live or via video conference.
- Admission Decision: The Admissions Committee reviews all applications holistically. Decisions (Offer, Conditional Offer, or Unsuccessful) are communicated via email within a few weeks of the application deadline. Successful applicants will receive an offer pack with next steps.
- Enrollment: To secure your place, accept the offer and follow the instructions to enroll. International students will receive guidance on visa applications and arriving in the UK. Prior to the start of term, all new students are invited to an orientation programme.
International Applicants
Parvis School of Economics and Music prides itself on being a truly international community. We welcome students from around the globe and are here to support you through the admissions process.
- English Language: If English is not your native language, you will need to demonstrate proficiency. We accept IELTS, TOEFL, or other equivalent qualifications. Our typical requirement is IELTS 6.5 (with no section below 6.0) or TOEFL iBT ~90+, though some programmes may require a higher score.
- Visas: Once admitted, international students will receive the necessary documentation to apply for a UK student visa (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies, CAS). Our International Office provides guidance on visa applications, as well as pre-departure briefings to help you transition to life in the UK.
- Academic Equivalencies: We are familiar with a wide range of international qualifications. Our admissions team will assess your grades in the context of your country’s education system. If you have questions about equivalencies or credentials, you can contact us for clarification.

We are committed to making Parvis accessible to outstanding students regardless of financial background. A number of scholarships and bursaries are available for high-achieving applicants, both domestic and international. These include merit-based scholarships (for academic or artistic excellence) and need-based financial aid.
